Buck et la cartouche maudite

The gag of the cartridge label alone got me, but the way the game leans into retro gaming culture kept me hooked until the credits rolled. Even the loading screens have jokes that land perfectly. Definitely worth picking up if you want a good laugh with your playthrough.

I was grinning from ear to ear within the first five minutes—the whole “definitely not cursed” premise had me hooked, and the writing actually nails that awkward, nerdy humor instead of forcing it. The story moves at a great clip too, so it never feels like a drag before you hit the next twist.

The moment he pops that cartridge in, the chaos starts instantly—the writing is so sharp I actually laughed out loud at the fake warning label bit. Plays perfectly on the Chromatic, and I’m already on my third run trying to catch every joke I missed.
